Greg Pearson

Chief Executive Officer

Favorite Pet Memory
My son spent most of the year leading up to his 7th birthday asking for a hamster. Despite initial reluctance to bring another pet into our family, when Greg accepted his new role at Compana his fate was sealed. Oreo the hamster has become a member of the family, loved by everyone including his sister Maggie (a mini goldendoodle).

Hey, I'm Greg!

Greg Pearson is the Chief Executive Officer at Compana Pet Brands.  Greg joined the company in Jan 2023, bringing a wealth of experience leading and transforming consumer businesses including pet products, having spent three years at Chewy.com.

Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending time with his family, traveling with them to new places, and time at the family lake house.

Ellen Forsyth

Chief Sales Officer

Favorite Pet Memory
When I got my first dog as a puppy. He was a collie named Barkey. We played every day, and he kept us entertained on our dairy farm.

Hey, I'm Ellen!

Ellen Siebenborn Forsyth is the Chief Sales Officer at Compana Pet Brands, bringing 28 years of sales leadership in the CPG industry. Since joining in January 2025, she has leveraged her expertise in market expansion, revenue growth, and strategic partnerships to drive success.

Outside of work, Ellen enjoys boating, golfing, and trying to keep up with kids’ activities. She is also deeply committed to raising awareness for the American Heart Association alongside her family.

Brian Purcell

Hey, I'm Brian!

Brian Purcell is the Chief Financial Officer at Compana Pet Brands. Brian came to our organization in April 2022 with 25 years of progressive finance experience, the last 16 years of which were spent in leading consumer packaged goods organizations. 

Outside of work, Brian loves to spend time with his family, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.

Lisa Nicastri

Senior Vice President, General Counsel

My favorite pet memory is the day that we met Luna, our Cavapoo, for the first time and she nestled her little face into my neck and rested her head on my shoulder…I knew she was meant to be mine ❤.

Hey, I'm Lisa!

Lisa Nicastri is the Vice President, General Counsel at Compana Pet Brands. Lisa came to our organization in September 2023 with over 20 years of legal expertise in a variety of areas, including regulatory compliance, brand protection, trademark/patent portfolio management and commercial contract negotiation. 

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys supporting all St. Louis sport teams, but has a special fondness for the St. Louis Blues. She enjoys staying fit and practicing self-care through tennis, running, cross-training, yoga, and curling up with a good book.

Courtney Wegman

The day we brought our beagle, Shamrock, home from the Humane Society. She quickly became our lucky charm!

Hey, I'm Courtney!

Courtney Wegman is the Vice President, Human Resources at Compana Pet Brands. Courtney came to our organization in August 2021 with over 20 years of Human Resources expertise across various industries including financial, farming, chemical manufacturing, and healthcare.

Courtney enjoys going to concerts and other live music events, travelling and supporting her favorite sports teams – the St. Louis Blues, Missouri Tigers, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Ryan Marek

Chief Marketing Officer

Taking our dogs to the beach this summer and watching them dive into and chase the waves.

Hey, I'm Ryan!

Ryan Marek is the Chief Marketing Officer at Compana Pet Brands. Ryan came to Compana in October 2023 with 19 years of marketing expertise across beauty, food, beverage, supplements, and cannabis industries.  

Ryan and his family have 2 furry children, Hugo, a 12-year-old "chuggle", and Maggie Bear, an 8-month-old Alaskan Malamute, German Shepherd & Australian Cattle Dog mix. In his free time, Ryan enjoys working on DIY projects with his wife on their 100+ year old home. 

Gary Thomas

International Business & Chief Supply Chain Officer

Favorite Pet Memory
My favorite memory is coming home from traveling or work, knowing my wife had told our Puggle, Izzy, "Dad is coming home soon." Izzy would immediately run upstairs, sit by the window, and patiently wait until she saw me pull into the driveway.

Hey, I'm Gary!

Gary Thomas joined Compana Pet Brands as Chief Supply Chain Officer in April 2024, bringing over 25 years of comprehensive leadership in supply chain management and commercial operations from industry-leading CPG companies, including Stanley Black & Decker, Kraft/Heinz, Del Monte, Danone, and Nonni’s. With a proven track record in driving enterprise-wide business transformation, Gary excels in aligning supply chain strategies with commercial objectives to enhance profitability, operational efficiency, and market competitiveness. His expertise in fostering cross-functional collaboration and innovation positions him to lead Compana’s strategic operations with a focus on sustainable growth and excellence.

Outside of work, Gary enjoys traveling, restoring classic cars, and passionately supporting the St. Louis Cardinals.
